Wood-Tic-Chick
Alaska! The fishing was amazing. The scenery was massive. The company was wonderfull. The food was out of control. Rainbow Trout, Altantic Char, Grayling, Pike and a few Salmon, they were all there. I am going to try to post some pictures of the trip to the post. Being that this is my first attempt at "blogging" and I already erased my first post, it may not be pretty. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the photos.
Our first stop in Dillingham. After the airline let us take there 1981 Conversion van to town we found this to be the busiest palce in town. PBR was $16 per 12 pack.

Morning calm
The morning view back to the main Yurt
Chap hooked into a rainbow during the hatch
Rob hooked into one also
This is actually Turk chasing a Salmon
This was our fishing partner on day 4. Lets just say we didn't let him in the boat. We were actually suprised bullets wern't flying over our heads when he came out in the open. Anybody who was not fishing was looking for a moose this big.
This is dad's 27' Rainbow on "Cattle Creek" (notice the dead Salmon on the creek bed)
Just another tough day on the river. Turk the Grayling master
This should serve as a warning; do not eat two monster buritos for lunch. Especially Jake's burritos
"Los Chicos" (well at least we look the part)
And here are a few more pictures from Alaska that may not be directly related to fishing.
Palmer, Alaska. The birthplace of my mom. We had to find for our selves excatly where "mail pouch #9" is. And let me tell you it is an exciting place
